Traditional craft fairs scheduled in Alba and Apuseni Mountains

Several traditional craft events are scheduled to take place in Romania. The first ceramics fair in Alba County will be held in Alba Iulia from August 14–16, 2026. Located at the Alba Carolina Citadel Ditches in the Old Ceramics Depot, the event will feature exhibitions, workshops, and discussions regarding the history and evolution of ceramics.

Additionally, the 31st edition of the Woodworkers Fair of the Apuseni Mountains is set for August 23, 2026. The event will take place at Petreasa Peak (1600m altitude) in the Horea commune. The program includes exhibitions, the ‘Best Woodworker’ national competition, folklore performances, and the Hora Moțească.
