Traditional festivals held in Brassert and Gahlen

Various traditional community events took place in the North Rhine-Westphalia region. In Brassert, the BSV Marl-Brassert held its Schützenfest, featuring a parade of marksmen through the town. The parade, which moved from the marketplace to a festival tent in the leisure park, included the new queen, Layana I. Folgmann.

In Gahlen, the local sheep market featured a procession of approximately 200 Blackhead sheep. A shepherd led the herd through the center of the village, serving as a highlight for spectators celebrating local craftsmanship and community tradition.
