Traditional Italian Palio festivals scheduled for 2026

Various traditional Italian festivals are scheduled for 2026. In Bastia Umbra, the Palio di San Michele 2026 features a series of events including the opening of district taverns, the blessing of banners, and parades by different districts such as Rione Sant’Angelo and Rione San Rocco. The festivities include traditional games like tug-of-war and sack races, a youth competition known as the Minipalio, and the Lizza competition.

In La Spezia, the Palio del Golfo continues its seasonal programming, which includes various trophies and historical maritime celebrations involving local districts such as Porto Venere, Lerici, and Tellaro.
