Traditional oil wrestling tournaments conclude in Kula and Elmalı

Traditional oil wrestling competitions have concluded with notable victories in Turkey. In the Elmalı Oil Wrestling tournament, Tevfik Gülter, born in 2008, secured first place in his category. Following his success, the company Öztrakya A. Ş. provided sponsorship support and presented him with a full gold coin to celebrate his achievement.

In Manisa's Kula district, the 29th Traditional Oil Wrestling tournament saw Feyzullah Aktürk claim the title of head wrestler (başpehlivan). Aktürk competed on behalf of businessman Ahmet Palabıyık. The event, held at the Kula Er Meydanı as part of local liberation anniversary celebrations, also highlighted rising young talent, including Beytullah Sarı and Melih Özdemir, who secured first-place finishes in their respective categories.
