Traditional Portuguese cuisine highlighted in Lisbon and Palmela

In Lisbon, the restaurant Astrolábio, part of the SANAMetropolitan group, has introduced a weekly buffet dedicated to Cozido à Portuguesa. Held every Thursday during lunch, the initiative titled ‘Quintas-feiras à Portuguesa – Onde a tradição é chef’ offers a selection of meats, traditional sausages, vegetables, and classic accompaniments for 30€ per person, including a selection of drinks.

In Palmela, the restaurant A Linete has maintained its reputation for simple, family-style recipes since opening in 1995. The establishment specializes in charcoal-grilled fresh fish, such as sardines and mackerel, as well as regional specialties like fried cuttlefish (choco frito) and bacalhau. The menu features various traditional dishes including alheira à portuguesa and feijoada at accessible price points.
