Traetta Opera Festival presents conservatory talents in Bitonto

The Traetta Opera Festival continues in Bitonto with a matinée event scheduled for Sunday, October 11, at the Teatro Comunale. This session is the second of three showcases dedicated to highlighting the talents of the Conservatorio di Musica ‘Niccolò Piccinni’ of Bari.

The program features three distinct recitals. Pianist Gabriele Martino Di Cesare will perform Beethoven’s ‘Appassionata’ Sonata and Liszt’s ‘Caccia selvaggia’. Following him, Giulio Mareschi will present works by Aleksandr Skrjabin, including his third and fourth sonatas. The morning concludes with the Quartetto Diafora saxophone ensemble, performing selections from Astor Piazzolla’s ‘Histoire du tango’ and works by Caryl Florio.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between advanced musical training and professional concert life by providing emerging artists with a public platform.
