Traffic accident on B 109 near Anklam causes property damage

A traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred on the B 109 highway between Anklam and Ducherow on October 10, 2026. The collision took place while a 39-year-old driver in a VW Golf was attempting to overtake another vehicle. Simultaneously, a 19-year-old driver in a VW Tiguan also began an overtaking maneuver without appearing to notice the following traffic, resulting in a side collision.

The incident caused approximately 14,000 euros in property damage. Both vehicles remained functional following the impact, and no injuries were reported.
