Lane closures after accidents on Denmark’s Vestmotorvejen and Route 16

A traffic accident on the Vestmotorvejen near Sorø caused two cars to stop in the left lane, leaving only one lane usable and creating a queue that adds 10‑30 minutes to travel times. Police and rescue teams responded to the scene.

Separately, an incident on Route 16 between Assentoft and Fausing blocked a lane, with the site not yet secured. Cleanup work has now been completed and traffic queues are being cleared.

Both incidents prompted lane closures and temporary disruptions for motorists on the affected highways.
