Traffic accidents in Buire-le-Sec and Cherbourg cause minor injuries
Two separate traffic accidents in France resulted in minor injuries this week.
In Buire-le-Sec, a collision involving two vehicles occurred on Rue de la Houssoye on Tuesday morning. Emergency responders from Montreuil-sur-Mer and Hesdin-la-Forêt treated two people for light injuries: a man in his thirties and a 7-year-old child. Both were transported to the CHAM in Rang-du-Fliers.
In Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, a utility vehicle became stuck in the Boulevard Guillaume-Le-Conquérant tunnel on Monday afternoon. The driver, a 31-year-old man, appears to have misjudged the vehicle's height, causing it to wedge under the concrete structure. Eight firefighters responded to the scene, and the driver was taken to the Cherbourg hospital emergency department for evaluation after sustaining minor injuries.
