Traffic accidents in Canary Islands leave multiple people injured

Two separate traffic accidents in the Canary Islands have resulted in injuries.

In Puerto del Rosario, a head-on collision between two vehicles occurred on the Fv221 road. A 60-year-old man sustained a moderate head injury and was transported by a medicalized ambulance to the Hospital General de Fuerteventura. Emergency responders, including firefighters and the Guardia Civil, attended the scene.

In Güímar, a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the TF-1 highway left two young people injured. The motorcycle driver, a 25-year-old man, suffered moderate trauma to his lower limbs and was taken to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias. His 20-year-old female passenger also sustained leg injuries and was evacuated to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria. The Guardia Civil and road services managed the scene and traffic flow.
