Traffic accidents in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina cause multiple injuries
Multiple traffic accidents in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina have resulted in several injuries. In Croatia, a collision between a car and two cyclists occurred between Kuršanec and Gornji Kuršanec. The 42-year-old driver failed to adjust speed to nighttime visibility, striking a 20-year-old cyclist and causing a chain reaction that injured a 31-year-old. Both cyclists were taken to the County Hospital in Čakovec. Authorities noted the cyclists were not wearing reflective gear and were using bicycles without functional lighting.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Tuzla Canton reported nine traffic accidents within a 24-hour period, leaving nine people injured. In Živinice, a bus struck three pedestrians at a bus station, resulting in one person suffering serious injuries and two others sustaining light injuries. Additional accidents in Lukavac and Kladnje also resulted in serious injuries and material damage. Local police have urged all road users to adhere to traffic regulations and adjust driving to road conditions.
