Traffic accidents involving motorcycles reported in Rio Branco and Curitiba

Two separate traffic accidents involving motorcycles occurred on Wednesday in different Brazilian cities.

In Rio Branco, a 48-year-old man identified as Tales da Silva was struck by a Yamaha Lander 250 motorcycle while attempting to cross Avenida Ceará. The collision resulted in exposed fractures to the man's left tibia and fibula, as well as various abrasions. SAMU emergency services transported the victim to the Rio Branco Emergency Care Unit, where he was listed in stable condition.

In Curitiba, a delivery motorcyclist was injured in the Alto da XV neighborhood following a collision with a Ford Ka on Rua José de Alencar. The accident occurred when the car driver reportedly changed lanes, striking the motorcycle. The victim, who reported intense pain in his left scapula, was treated by Siate emergency teams and taken to Hospital XV for medical evaluation and X-rays.
