Traffic accidents involving utility poles reported in Mexico and Argentina

Two separate traffic accidents involving utility poles were reported in Tijuana, Mexico, and Roca, Argentina.

In Tijuana, a beer truck struck a 13,200-volt Commission Federal de Electricidad (CFE) pole on the Rosas Magallón highway. The incident left high-tension cables draped over three vehicles, including a truck transporting soil. Firefighters responded to the scene to ensure the lines were de-energized before attempting to free the vehicles. No injuries were reported, though the accident caused significant traffic congestion and material damage.

In Roca, a driver lost control of a Haval H6 ProHEV early in the morning, striking a light pole and ending up overturned on a sidewalk. Local authorities reported that the driver underwent a breathalyzer test, which returned a positive result for alcohol consumption. The driver declined medical assistance following the crash.
