A multi-vehicle pileup involving four cars occurred on the Kırıkkale-Ankara highway near the Hacıbalı Organized Industrial Zone (OSB). The accident was triggered when a vehicle stopped suddenly, leading to a chain reaction involving three subsequent vehicles.

Seven people were injured in the collision and transported to local hospitals, including Yüksek İhtisas Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine Hospital. Authorities reported that none of the injured individuals are in life-threatening condition.

The accident caused significant traffic congestion at a major junction connecting 43 provinces. Drone footage captured long queues of vehicles as traffic was restricted to a single lane for a period. Following the removal of the damaged vehicles by recovery teams, traffic flow returned to normal. Police and gendarmerie have launched an investigation, with preliminary assessments suggesting that the following drivers failed to maintain a safe following distance.
