Turkey reports multiple traffic accidents involving injuries
Several traffic accidents across Turkey have resulted in multiple injuries. In the Bolu Mountain Tunnel, a truck struck a car carrying a family traveling from Istanbul to Ordu for a funeral. The collision caused the car to overturn, injuring four people. The truck driver reportedly fled the scene, prompting an investigation by gendarmerie teams.
In Antalya, two separate incidents occurred. In Manavgat, an intoxicated driver caused a three-vehicle pileup on the D-400 highway, injuring four people. In Serik, a car struck a pedestrian at a crosswalk, causing injuries to both the pedestrian and the driver. The Serik Mayor, a medical doctor, provided initial assistance at the scene.
Other reported incidents include a motorcycle colliding with a pedestrian in Manavgat, leaving two people seriously injured, and a vehicle plunging into a stream in Hatay, injuring three occupants. In Trabzon, a driver was hospitalized after their vehicle went out of control and rolled over.
