Traffic accidents reported in Varna and Burgas regions

Several traffic accidents have been reported in the Varna and Burgas regions of Bulgaria.

On the Varna–Burgas road, a 48-year-old woman driving a Hyundai crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a Kia Sportage driven by a 34-year-old woman. The driver of the Kia was treated at a hospital in Burgas.

In the Dolni Chiflik area near Varna, a 69-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle and drove into a ditch, sustaining life-threatening injuries including multiple rib and pelvic fractures, a pneumothorax, and head and liver trauma.

Additionally, in Varna, a 21-year-old driver lost control of a car, drove over a median strip, and struck a 44-year-old pedestrian. The driver attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by a police officer and bystanders. The pedestrian suffered a fractured shoulder, and legal proceedings have been initiated.
