Traffic authorities intercept unlicensed drivers in Italy and Slovenia
Law enforcement agencies in Italy and Slovenia have reported incidents involving unlicensed drivers and stolen property during routine traffic safety checks.
In Alatri, Italy, Carabinieri intercepted a man driving a scooter with a revoked driver's license. Subsequent investigations revealed that the scooter had been stolen. The individual was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of aggravated theft, and the vehicle was returned to its rightful owner.
In Monfalcone, local police stopped a vehicle following a dangerous maneuver, discovering that the 27-year-old driver had never obtained a driver's license. The vehicle owner also faced penalties for allowing an unlicensed individual to operate the car. Authorities noted that there have been twelve such cases of driving without a license in the municipality since the beginning of the year.
