Traffic collision on L 2017 near Tastungen injures a driver

On Saturday afternoon at about 16:00, a collision occurred on the L 2017 road just before the village of Tastungen in Thuringia, Germany. A 64‑year‑old woman driving a Seat attempted to overtake a 33‑year‑old transport driver who was signalling a left turn into a field lane. Misreading the slowing vehicle and missing the turn signal, she struck the turning transporter.

The Seat driver sustained only minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at roughly €20,000.
