Traffic collisions in Sint-Oedenrode and Wormerveer injure several people
A two‑vehicle crash on July 13 in Sint‑Oedenrode left two occupants hospitalized after one car entered a ditch and the other sustained severe damage. Emergency services cleared the site and reopened the road.
On July 15, a motor scooter collided with a van on the N246 near Wormerveer, sending the scooter riders to hospital with unknown injuries. Police noted the scooter driver had a positive saliva test for alcohol. The incident caused a temporary full closure of the road and subsequent congestion. Later the same afternoon a Tesla and a Volvo collided on the same highway, adding to the traffic disruption.
Both accidents prompted road closures, police investigations and medical treatment for the injured parties.
