Traffic congestion in Zagreb and infrastructure updates in Serbia

In Croatia, data from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences reveals significant traffic congestion in urban areas. The Slavonska-Ljubljanska Avenue in Zagreb is among the busiest, with daily traffic exceeding 100,000 vehicles on certain days. Other high-traffic routes include Dubrovnik Avenue in New Zagreb, which sees between 75,000 and 80,000 vehicles daily, and the Zagreb bypass, which handles between 50,000 and 75,000 vehicles depending on the season.

In Serbia, Minister for Public Investments Darko Glišić visited several villages near Čačak to oversee infrastructure and social projects. In Bresnica, an old school building is set to be renovated into a modern kindergarten through a donation, aimed at reducing waiting lists for local families. Additionally, preparatory work has begun on road infrastructure in Mrčajevci, and discussions are underway to modernize local roads in Katrga and Premeće.
