Traffic disruptions expected in Istria and Split due to sporting events

Major sporting events in Croatia will cause significant traffic disruptions and public transport changes this Saturday.

In Istria, the Istria300 international recreational cycling marathon will take place, starting in Poreč at 7:00 AM. The race involves multiple long routes across the peninsula, leading to temporary road closures and traffic diversions in various locations, including Poreč, Vrsar, Sveti Lovreč, Kanfanar, and Labin. Police and traffic controllers will manage the flow, and drivers are advised to use alternative routes.

In Split, a super sprint triathlon in the Žnjan area will result in temporary traffic regulations. Between 8:00 AM and 11:15 AM, specific sections of the coastline and local roads will be closed or partially restricted. This will affect bus lines 13, 14, and 15, requiring route changes and causing potential delays for commuters.
