Traffic disruptions on French A50 and A54 autoroutes after separate accidents

Two serious collisions on France's motorways have caused extensive traffic jams. On Friday afternoon a heavy‑goods vehicle overturned on the A54 between Nîmes Garons and Arles, forcing a complete closure toward Salon‑de‑Provence. Emergency services attended the scene while authorities worked to remove the truck, creating roughly five kilometres of congestion heading to Salon‑de‑Provence and three kilometres in the opposite direction. Drivers were advised to exit at Nîmes Garons and seek updated traffic reports.
