Traffic disruptions reported in Balneário Camboriú and on SC-108 highway

Various infrastructure projects are causing traffic disruptions in Balneário Camboriú and on the SC-108 highway in Santa Catarina, Brazil.

In Balneário Camboriú, several roads are facing partial or total closures due to works involving natural gas network installation, sewage and water network repairs, and drainage projects. Notable disruptions include partial closures on Avenida Atlântica and Avenida do Estado, as well as total closures on Rua 1400 and sections of Rua 600 and Rua 2800. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes and follow local signage.

Additionally, the SC-108 highway will undergo a total seven-hour closure between Guaramirim and Massaranduba near the Rio Putanga bridge. This closure, scheduled from 11:00 to 18:00, is necessary for rock blasting as part of a major highway duplication project. Motorists are directed to use Estrada Fundo Sueco as an alternative route during this period.
