Traffic disruptions reported in Zephyri and Evia

Traffic has been interrupted in several parts of Greece due to infrastructure damage and weather conditions.

In Zephyri, vehicle movement has been halted on Panagias Grigorousis Street, specifically from the level of Dervenakion Street and the section near Papaflessa Street. The disruption was caused by a burst EYDAP water pipe. Authorities have advised drivers to use alternative routes and follow official instructions until repairs to the water supply network are completed.

In Evia, soil subsidence at the Kalyviti Bridge has led to the temporary closure of the Psachnon – Stavrou municipal road in both directions. The closure affects access to the Holy Monastery of Saint John Kalyviti. Local officials, including the President of the Stavros Community and the Civil Protection advisor for the Dirfion – Messapia Municipality, are managing the situation. Travelers are advised to use the alternative route through the Panorama area toward Stavros. The road will remain closed until necessary works are finished and safety is guaranteed.
