Traffic incidents reported in Bačko Gradište and Banja Luka

Two separate traffic-related incidents have been reported in the region. In Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, a metal signpost collapsed onto a sidewalk and roadway on Kralja Petra II Street. A witness noted that a woman and a young child had passed the location only seconds before the sign fell, narrowly avoiding injury. Local residents have called for urgent repairs to the damaged asphalt and the installation of new signage.

In Serbia, a severe traffic accident occurred at the exit of Bačko Gradište toward Bečej. The incident resulted in one fatality and left two individuals seriously injured. Emergency services, including police, firefighters, and medical teams, attended the scene, and traffic in the area was reportedly disrupted.
