Traffic lane changes announced for Tunis and France's A14 highway
Tunisia's Ministry of Equipment and Habitat will temporarily reduce the RN1 south‑entry lane through the Saint‑Gobain bridge to a single lane for traffic heading from central Tunis toward Ben Arous, starting at 17:00 on 24 July 2026. The opposite direction will keep two lanes. The restriction, part of the first phase of the south‑entry widening project, is expected to last 45 days, with drivers urged to reduce speed and follow signage.
In France, the Sanef operator reported that works on the A14 highway in the Yvelines have progressed ahead of schedule. Day‑time traffic on the A14 will resume on 27 July 2026, while night‑time construction will continue. Remaining closures are planned from 3 August 2026, with the overall work set to finish by 14 August 2026.
