Traffic regulations announced for events in Vukovar and Virovitica

Several Croatian cities are implementing traffic regulations due to upcoming local events.

Vukovar is introducing a special traffic regime starting Thursday, August 27, to accommodate a concert by Marko Perković Thompson. With nearly 100,000 visitors expected, the city has secured 19 hectares of parking space for buses and cars. Attendees should note that parking areas are located approximately 1 to 1.3 kilometers from the concert venue, requiring a walk to the site. Local authorities emphasize following temporary signage and police instructions to avoid congestion.

In Virovitica, temporary road closures will occur on Saturday, August 29, from 18:30 to 23:00 for the ‘Mrka trka’ street race, held in celebration of the Virovitica-Podravina County Day. Various intersections and streets in the city center will be affected, and traffic will be redirected to surrounding roads.
