Traffic restrictions planned for Timișoara and Oradea

Several cities in Romania are implementing road restrictions to facilitate utility and infrastructure works.

In Timișoara, traffic will be phased at the intersection of Calea Șagului and Ana Ipătescu from October 23 to November 2, 2026, to expand the sewage network. Additionally, restrictions will be in place on Aristide Demetriade Street near the Enric Baader intersection from October 26, 2026, through December 31, 2027, for railway modernization works on the Caransebeș–Timișoara–Arad line.

In Oradea, road closures are scheduled for several areas. Sf. Apostol Andrei Street will be closed between Anton Pann and Szigligeti Ede from October 23 to November 2 for utility works. On October 24, Codrilor Street will close for railway passage construction involving metal beam installation and concrete pouring. Furthermore, from October 26 to November 1, the passage at Decebal Bridge will be closed due to sewage network replacement near the Crișul Repede river, requiring traffic to be diverted via Constructorilor Street and Decebal Boulevard.
