In Romania, police in Kovászna county are conducting thematic inspections targeting cyclists, motorcyclists, and scooter riders following a rise in accidents. Data from the first seven months of the year shows 61 accidents involving two-wheelers in the region, primarily caused by traffic violations by the victims. During recent checks, authorities identified several offenses, including a 68-year-old cyclist in Bodzaforduló who was fined 2,162 lei for riding while intoxicated.
