Traffic signaling and compliance issues reported in Sarajevo and Zagreb

Traffic management and driver compliance issues have been highlighted in Sarajevo and Zagreb. In the Sarajevo neighborhood of Dobrinja, an excessive density of traffic signs, supplementary plates, and warnings has been observed. The concentration of signage on single poles and in close proximity to one another has raised concerns that the visual clutter may confuse drivers rather than provide clear guidance.

In Zagreb, Croatia, drivers continue to ignore temporary traffic regulations at the intersection of Zagrebačka Avenue and Selska Street. Despite ongoing reconstruction since mid-July that prohibits left turns at this junction, motorists frequently attempt illegal turns, causing congestion and blocking traffic moving in the correct direction. While city officials have provided alternative routes and U-turn options, the persistent disregard for signage has led to calls for increased police enforcement.
