Tragedies reported in Pisco and San Juan involving fatal incidents

In Pisco, Peru, residents and family members held a funeral procession for 24-year-old Kiara Palacios Huamán, a mother of two who was fatally shot in the San Alberto urban area. During the service, protesters marched to the Pisco Police Station and the Public Ministry to demand justice and the immediate arrest of the alleged perpetrator, Edu Gabriel Juárez Huamán, identified as the victim's former partner.

In San Juan, Argentina, an eighteen-month-old girl died after falling into a swimming pool at her home. The child was discovered by her mother and subsequently suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest at Hospital Rawson. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident, including whether a door leading to the backyard was left unsecured.

Both incidents have caused significant local distress and are currently under investigation by respective judicial authorities.
