Tragic deaths of infants reported in Kentucky and San Juan
In Kentucky, United States, a one-year-old boy named Mason Moulding died after allegedly ingesting parts of a contaminated diaper while in a playpen. Authorities reported that the child's living conditions were extremely poor, noting a home filled with trash, used diapers, cat urine, insects, and a lack of running water. Deavan Williams, the mother's partner, was charged with homicide, while the child's mother, Alexandrae Price, was arrested for child abuse.
In San Juan, Argentina, an eighteen-month-old girl drowned in a backyard swimming pool. The child and her twin sister reportedly exited the house unnoticed. After discovering the child in the pool, neighbors attempted CPR before she was transported to Hospital Rawson, where she later died from cardiac arrest. Investigators are examining whether a door to the backyard was left unsecured during gardening work at the time of the incident.
