Trail de Arcos celebrates 10th anniversary with route through Castillo de Sobroso

The tenth edition of the Trail de Arcos–José Teixeira will take place this Sunday, October 18, in Ponteareas. A major highlight of this year's event is that participants in all four race categories will pass through the interior of the historic Castillo de Sobroso, utilizing a gate that is typically closed to the public.

Organized by the Club Os Caminhantes do Condado, the event expects between 450 and 500 athletes from Galicia, other Spanish regions, and Portugal. The routes consist of 97% dirt tracks, paths, and forest trails, traversing landscapes such as the mountains of A Picaraña and Coto Landín, as well as the Xabriña river area. The start and finish lines will be located at the Arcos Cultural Center.
