Trail running events announced in Cerdedo-Cotobade and Magallanes Strait

The Entre Pontes Trail & Running circuit, promoted by the Deputación de Pontevedra, has opened registrations for its fourth stop in Cerdedo-Cotobade, scheduled for November 1. The event features a 14-kilometer main trail with 500 available spots, primarily traversing forest tracks and trails. Other activities include a non-competitive 7-kilometer hike and various children's races. The event aims to showcase the natural heritage of the region, utilizing local hiking routes and centering activities around the Cerdedo river beach.

In another sporting event, the third edition of the Del Estrecho Trail will take place on November 14 at the Magallanes Strait Park. This edition introduces a new 21-kilometer PRO category for experienced runners, alongside 2K and 8K routes. The competition will be held in the Punta Santa Ana sector, combining natural landscapes with historical maritime heritage. Organizers noted that the initial pre-sale phase sold out, and registration remains open for the new distances.
