Train Announces 12th Album 'Mad Dog in the Fog' for Aug. 28 Release

American pop‑rock band Train will issue its twelfth studio album, Mad Dog in the Fog, on 28 August 2026. The album title references a historic San Francisco bar where the group first performed, and the title‑track video was filmed on location. Lead vocalist Pat Monahan said the record reflects the energy and identity the band has cultivated over more than three decades and serves as a tribute to their origins. Earlier singles “The Weekend” and “Pennsylvania Turnpike” have already previewed the new material, and the band announced a summer tour that will feature a celebration of their 2001 hit “Drops of Jupiter.”
