Trainer Adrian Bott weighs options for Revengeance's comeback

Trainer Adrian Bott is evaluating whether the Golden Gift winner Revengeance will make his comeback in The Rosebud at Rosehill Gardens. A final decision regarding the colt's participation depends on fitness evaluations following trackwork scheduled for Tuesday.

If Revengeance does not compete in The Rosebud, Bott may opt for another barrier trial at Randwick this Friday, targeting the San Domenico Stakes on August 29. Revengeance, a former Golden Slipper contender, is recovering from surgery to remove bone chips from his knee which sidelined him during the autumn.

Bott's stablemate, Eviction Notice, is also slated for entry into The Rosebud. Having placed in two recent winter return runs, Eviction Notice may hold a fitness advantage in the race.
