Trainer Ben Davison addresses recent losses and Anthony Joshua reunion

Boxing trainer Ben Davison has addressed recent criticisms regarding his cornering decisions and his professional relationship with Tyson Fury. Reflecting on the heavyweight bout between Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois, Davison admitted that the fight potentially should have been stopped a few rounds earlier than the 11th round. He acknowledged the mistake, stating, “I am man enough to turn around and say that, yes, maybe I could’ve stopped that one earlier, we all make mistakes.”

Davison also responded to tongue-in-cheek comments from Tyson Fury, who labeled him a “traitor” following Davison’s decision to reunite with Anthony Joshua. Davison, who previously cornered Fury for five fights, is set to lead Joshua’s corner for an upcoming heavyweight match against Fury at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in December. Davison dismissed the accusations, noting that boxing is a business and expressing confidence that Fury understands his character.
