During a hearing at the Kumanovo Basic Court, Trajko Bojkovski confessed to committing three murders of women in the Staro Nagoricane region between January 2025 and February 2026. While Bojkovski claimed his motives were financial, the prosecution maintains that the killings were driven by sexual and necrophilic impulses.

Bojkovski faces charges for a total of four murders and two attempted murders. Forensic psychiatrist Stojan Bajraktarov testified that the defendant is mentally competent and capable of controlling his actions, despite having limited intellectual abilities and a restricted vocabulary. The court rejected a defense request to provide Bojkovski with a speech therapist or interpreter.

Prosecutor Ljubomir Lape noted that while the defendant's current defense strategy involves inconsistent statements, material evidence supports the original indictment. The trial is expected to conclude with final arguments scheduled for October 6.
