Trakya Development Agency funds 13 regional projects
The Trakya Development Agency has signed contracts for 13 projects under its 2026 Technical Support Program-01. These initiatives, implemented across Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ, aim to strengthen institutional capacities, support digital transformation, and improve service quality within the TR21 Trakya region.
In Edirne, three projects were selected: a digitalization initiative for the Edirne Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, effective communication training for the elderly by the Edirne Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, and a capacity-building project for the Uzunköprü Commodity Exchange.
Kırklareli received support for seven projects focusing heavily on artificial intelligence and healthcare. Key areas include health tourism, AI applications in education and business, digital transformation in health and civil society, and legal technologies. Participating entities include Lüleburgaz State Hospital, the Kırklareli Provincial Directorate of National Education, and the Kırklareli Bar Association, among others.
In Tekirdağ, the program will support projects from three chambers of commerce and industry.
