Tramell Tillman Debuts as Bill Metzger at Marvel’s Spider‑Man: Brand New Day Premiere

Actor Tramell Tillman walked the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on July 27, 2026 for the premiere of Columbia Pictures’ Spider‑Man: Brand New Day. The event marked Tillman’s first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing the X‑Men villain William “Bill” Metzger, a role that could set up future appearances in the upcoming “X‑Men” Phase 7 film.

Tillman expressed his excitement, saying the crowd’s reaction was filled with love, gasps and cheers. He highlighted the personal significance of sharing the moment with his manager, agent, publicist, stylist and makeup team, noting it was his first such gathering since the Emmy awards.

For his look, Tillman worked with long‑time stylist Chaise Dennis and chose a double‑breasted pinstripe Tom Ford suit, a polka‑dot tie, a Jaeger‑LeCoultre watch from the brand’s new collection and Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses. The premiere also featured numerous Marvel stars, including Tom Holland, Zendaya, Michael B. Jordan and Mark Ruffalo, and early projections suggest the film could record the largest opening weekend of any 2026 release.
