Tramlines Festival 2026 opens in Sheffield with Milly Pye and Vanessa Carlton headlining

The 2026 edition of the Tramlines Festival began at Hillsborough Park in Sheffield, featuring a mixed programme of pop, rock, indie and hip‑hop acts. The opening slot on the Sarah Nulty Main Stage was taken by Milly Pye, who debuted an unreleased track and engaged the crowd with her energetic performance. American singer‑songwriter Vanessa Carlton followed, delivering a standout set that included her classic hit “A Thousand Miles”.

Other notable performances included Birmingham band The Clause on the main stage, who played tracks from their chart‑topping indie debut, and The Vaccines later in the day.
