Trampoline gymnastics expands in Argentina through charity and major games

Trampoline gymnastics is gaining prominence in Argentina through both charitable initiatives and major international competitions. In Resistencia, instructor Viviana Alarcón is organizing the First National Tournament and Jump Masterclass. Scheduled for October 11 at the Jaime Zapata sports center, the event aims to raise funds to purchase 48 specialized reclining chairs for the Resistencia Pediatric Hospital to benefit parents and companions of hospitalized children.

On a larger scale, trampoline gymnastics will be featured in the 2026 South American Games. The discipline, which includes individual and synchronized categories, will take place from September 19 to 21 at the Invencible Arena in Rosario. The games, held across Santa Fe, Rosario, and Rafaela, are expected to host over 4,000 athletes from 15 countries.
