Trampoline hall heavily damaged by fire in Würzburg

A trampoline hall located in the Heuchelhof industrial area of Würzburg sustained heavy damage following a major fire on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services, including the Würzburg professional fire department and the Rottenbauer volunteer fire department, responded to a roof fire. Due to the high fire load and rapid spread of flames into the interior of the building, firefighters were unable to launch an internal attack. Instead, they fought the blaze from the outside using two turntable ladders and several water cannons.

The operation lasted approximately seven hours, with the fire being brought under control after about ninety minutes. Additional support was required from the Reichenberg volunteer fire department and the Klingholz fire center due to the high volume of water needed for extinguishing efforts.
