Tréan secures one-two finish for Paddy Twomey in Goffs Million

Paddy Twomey secured a one-two finish in the Goffs Million at The Curragh on Saturday. The race favourite, Tréan (9/4), won the event after rider Billy Lee navigated through the field to take the lead.

Tréan finished half a length ahead of stablemate Hi Corbett Court (80/1), who was ridden by Siobhán Rutledge. This victory marks the second time Twomey and Lee have won this specific race, following their success with One Look in 2023.

Twomey described Tréan as a ‘highly talented horse’ and a ‘class act.’ The win was particularly notable for Hi Corbett Court, which had previously won a handicap in Sligo.
