Tran Thanh Man calls for technology transfer in South Korea

National Assembly President Tran Thanh Man met with members of the Vietnam Innovation Network and Vietnamese experts in Seoul, South Korea, on September 6. During the meeting, Man called for the sharing and transfer of international knowledge and experience, specifically regarding the development, mastery, and commercialization of technology.

Man highlighted that Vietnam has enacted dedicated laws on artificial intelligence (AI) and is promoting AI education across various levels. He noted that the National Assembly has accelerated digital transformation and applied AI in lawmaking to remove institutional bottlenecks. The President emphasized that Vietnam is prioritizing domestic computing and data infrastructure, including investments in green data centers, to support AI development and achieve the national goal of becoming a developed, high-income country by 2045.
