Trans Influencer Marcela Porto Seeks to Adopt Two Siblings in Brazil

Marcela Porto, a 52‑year‑old Brazilian influencer known as “Mulher Abacaxi,” announced her intention to adopt two children, preferably siblings. She said her desire to become a mother has long existed and that being a trans woman does not diminish that dream.

Porto has begun gathering the required documentation for the adoption process, including identity papers, income proof, and background checks. She criticized the lengthy bureaucracy of Brazil’s adoption system, noting that many children remain in shelters awaiting families. While she previously felt she needed greater financial stability, she now believes the time is right to move forward.

The influencer emphasized that she does not prioritize the children’s age or race, only seeking a loving connection and a stable home for the prospective siblings.
