Trans Jatim Koridor II officially begins operations in Malang Raya
East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa officially inaugurated the Trans Jatim Koridor II bus service in Malang Raya on Friday, October 30, 2026. The new corridor spans 36 kilometers, connecting strategic points from Talangagung Terminal Kepanjen, through Gondanglegi and Bululawang, to Madyopuro Terminal in Malang City. The service utilizes 15 buses and includes 56 designated stops.
The new route is integrated with the existing Koridor I, allowing passengers to transfer between corridors for free if the transit occurs within two hours. Regular fares are set at Rp 5,000 for the general public and Rp 2,500 for students and religious students. To mark the launch, the service is free for all passengers for one week, from October 30 to November 5, 2026.
Governor Khofifah also announced a permanent policy providing free transportation for persons with disabilities across all Trans Jatim corridors. Additionally, the provincial government launched six intercity buses (AKDP) to improve connectivity in the southern Malang region, covering routes such as Arjosari to Sendang Biru.
