Transaction Network Services appoints Michael Johnson as global payments lead

Transaction Network Services (TNS) has appointed Michael Johnson as the Global Managing Director for its Payments Market business. In this role, Johnson will be responsible for setting strategy and driving growth across the company’s global portfolio of payment products and markets.

Johnson is a payments industry veteran who previously held several leadership positions within TNS, including Vice President of APAC Operations and Managing Director for Asia Pacific Payments. He also managed the ADVAM suite of solutions following its acquisition by TNS. Before his most recent role as CEO of PAX Technology Australia, Johnson spent 15 years at First Data Australia and New Zealand.
