Transavia suspends Strasbourg-Constantine route as Air Algérie launches promotions

Transavia has announced the suspension of its flight route between Strasbourg, France, and Constantine, Algeria, for the 2026-2027 winter season. The interruption will last from October 2026 through February 2027. The airline plans to resume service on March 30, 2027, with a scheduled frequency of one flight per week during the spring and summer months.

In a separate development, Air Algérie has launched a major promotional campaign offering discounted round-trip tickets to approximately 30 international destinations across 22 countries. The promotion covers routes in Africa, Europe, Asia, and America. Notable low-cost fares include flights from Rome to Algiers starting at 148 euros and various connections from cities such as Palma, Brussels, and Madrid. The campaign also includes reduced rates for departures from Algiers to several European destinations.
