Transener and Tecpetrol win top honors at Fortuna Awards

At the 21st edition of the Fortuna Awards, organized by Editorial Perfil, several Argentine companies received top honors in their respective sectors.

Transener was named the Best Electric Company. CEO Pablo Tarca accepted the award, noting that the recognition reflects the company's efficiency and the performance of its 2,000 collaborators. Transener operates an extensive high-voltage transmission network in Argentina, including over 12,600 kilometers of 500 kV lines.

Tecpetrol was recognized as the Best Oil Company. CEO Ricardo Markous received the distinction, highlighting the importance of the Vaca Muerta formation to the Argentine economy and the energy sector's role in generating foreign exchange. The company reported investing more than US$1.1 billion in 2025 to strengthen its integrated energy operations.
